Bonadea Continues to Pop Up Around College Campuses
one of the most prevalent arguments i can remember amongst my friends and i while in college, was where to stop for some late night nourishment after a big night on the town. one school of thought lived and died by mexican cuisine to satisfy their late night hunger, absorbing their liquid filled belly’s with burritos, tacos, nachos, or all of the above (if they wanted to regret all decisions made that night). while the other side was firmly planted on italian cuisine, seeking satisfaction from a slice of pizza or 3. why must there be this division? if the whiskey, tequila and jager didn’t make us argue why is this decision doing it?
by some strike of simple genius someone has done it. someone has put a stop to this madness.
bonadea drinks is proud to announce it is now being served at luigi ortega’s in pasadena. yes you have guessed it, a restaurant with a mix between italian delights and mexican favorites. their menu also expands from the ordinary to the unusual. you can get philly cheese steaks (a close 3rd in the late night argument), pastas or salads. if you are feeling a little crazy (good chance you are) you can venture into their exotic menu and choose from some unusual meats. alligator, turtle, ostrich and even kangaroo can give your burrito, pizza, or taco experience a new perspective.

luigi ortega’s is located across the street from pasadena city college campus. stop by and try their spectacular, ethnically confused cuisine and grab a bonadea drink to wash it all down (i hear it pairs perfectly with kangaroo.)

until next time…..salud mis amigos!
